What's up with tags?
You can tag a thread you made, which can be searched later, or edited/removed by staff. 
In a thread you make, down at the bottom, above quick reply, is a tag box, click on Edit tags in the upper right, and enter tag(s). Then say save changes.

WTF is up with quick reply?
You have to give one or more people to respond to, at the bottom of a post, next to QUOTE and multi-quote is an icon with two down arrows. Click on that, and then you can quick reply. The title will usually be picked for you, something like "RE: (other post title)".

Multi-quote?
Click on the button next to QUOTE underneath a post to select, again to deselect, then add as many as you want, and click new reply under last post in the thread.

Where is/can i use/what's wrong with my old avatar/signature/etc?
Either at the old forum, lost, already here, or mis-linked with the avatar.
With your sig, it probably has mis-matched code, which is why it looks different, you need to change that.
